A Picture Perfect Picture-less Christmas!

Well another Christmas has come and gone and sadly I have no pictures!  This is what happens when you forget your camera and your husband is the one with the good phone.  I think there is one picture of us in our Pjs on mi madres camera, but that is down in AZ.
We had a great time though!  If I had remembered my camera you would see pictures of us partying with our families, playing games with our friends and getting spoiled by our families. We feel so blessed to have so many wonderful people in our lives.
Taylor's best bud Dan proposed to his adorable fiancĂ© Mckel on the beach in San Diego.  We are so excited for them!  Congratulations!

I went into the dentist at 7:40 am and left at 10:30. Immediately after that I picked up the pain meds and popped one in and tried to eat some oatmeal. One hour later I was violently vomiting in the bathroom. I called Taylor crying and tried to compose myself as I cleaned up the lovely mess I had made on the bathroom floor. Yuck! My dentist called me in some anti-nausea medicine and after taking that and another pain med the pain was lessened greatly. What a day! Luckily I could take work off so I was able to sit and relax and watch Kathy Lee and Hoda (my guilty pleasure:) and listen to Florence + the Machine. I even got some Christmas wrapping done!

Sorry if that story was way too much info!  I hope the holidays are going wonderfully for everyone.  We are excited to party with family and friends.

Walkin' in a Winter Onesie Land

This week has been SO busy,  I am sure everyone is feeling like that.  I swear I haven't had a sit down and relax moment all week.   I have TONS of sewing projects to finish before the holidays and so much shopping to do! I am hoping Taylor's b-day present (an iPad 2) will keep him occupied on Christmas so he doesn't realize I have ZERO surprises for him :)

Taylor's mood has sure changed since finals, and I am loving it! I guess since Taylor hasn't had homework to keep him occupied, he has been begging me to finish my onsies so that we can be matching for Christmas.  I kept putting the project off because Taylor's took me so long to make last year.  Luckily for me Taylor kept encouraging me and I made these in less than 1/2 the time it took me to make his!  Tonight we are going to snuggle up in our onesie, have a slumber party in our PJs, watch a Christmas movie and sip hot cocoa.  Heaven.

What's that?  You are super jealous of my giraffe onsies??  I thought so.

Highlights of the upcoming week include:

1.  Getting my wisdom tooth out (yes,  "tooth"  I only have one left)
2.  Getting a root canal.
3.  Getting a crown.
4.  Getting all this dental work done three days before Christmas!

I am hoping that I don't swell up too much for all Christmas pictures, although it will help me stay away from the holiday goodies :).

Happy Holidays!

After the photos Taylor was sitting so nonchalantly with his mustache.

We went to Dan's house this weekend and had fun making gingerbread houses and taking these amazing Christmas photos! Fun was had by all.

Tonight was my little sister's (Kara) Christmas concert.  It was so fun to go and spend time with my family and watch this cutie perform.

Love you Kara!

Denver Trip

Yes that is me holding the dog on the right... real dog... not photoshopped in.
This was our work Christmas card, my boss kept throwing around words like... "avant-garde", "couture" and "chanel",  It was quite fun.   Just looking at the picture I laugh, and you probably are too, but it was actually pretty fun to dress up in our wedding dresses and load on the make-up.  (Picture taken by Dunker)  We have over a hundred of variations on these pictures. Oh I love my job!

Last weekend I went to Denver on a work trip/ Christmas retreat.  We deal with a lot of showrooms in Denver and one of them was having a Christmas Party and told us if we came they would pay for the hotel.. yes we are just that loved :).

The showroom had an insane sound system, glowing tables and... wait for it.. Ghost Chairs for the party goers to lounge on!  My inner design nerd couldn't help but squeal as I sat in those beautiful chairs.  Free alcohol was a plenty, luckily they had Sprite and Diet Coke for the non drinkers that were there (just me and my coworker:).  It was a riot to dance and party all night!  We went home with tired feet and a belly full of diet coke and expensive cheese :).
That's my boss.

There was showroom after showroom of GORGEOUS furniture.... I officially hate my apartment.

That's me!

That is our Kneedler Fauchere Rep Dennis.  We Love him!

We were swimming in samples of beautiful trims!

We spent a whole day shopping for our clients.

I will take it all!

Blurry... :(  The lady taking the picture said she was a little "blurry" that night as well.

The decorations for the party were off the hook.

Quite an unflattering picture, but how often do you get the chance to lay on a $20,000 bed??  This picture was taken at 1:00 in the morning when I was longing for my bed back at the hotel.
This was on the drive home.  The colors were amazing so I had to snap a pic.

I came home to my stressed out hubby.  I felt bad leaving him here with his MOUND of homework.  I can't wait for this week to be over.  We finally got our tree up on Sunday so it feels like Christmas!
